Vivian turned two at the beginning of the month. We flew back from Phoenix one day before her Birthday-her last free flight :( We started her special day with a birthday donut. Then we took her out for lunch to her choice of Red Robyn. Once the wait staff started singing their version of happy birthday, she wouldn't even look in their direction. After lunch we went back to Grandma and grandpa's for opening presents and cake and ice cream. Vivian was excited to spend time with her cousins and she loved opening all of her gifts.

Just a couple of photo's I took of the girls at the end of August. They both have a few mosquito bites. Also it looks like we are moving next week, just waiting on the final word on the buyer's financing. We have been packing like mad and there is still so much more. I will miss this house, and the picturesque backyard. The girls will miss their swing set. No time to write too much. PACK PACK PACK!

Am I really the mom of of a 4 yr old.........Oh yeah I am!

We had a "chef" themed party for Ava. The kids made their own pizza's and also frosted and decorated cupcakes. We had a lot of kids (17 in all) . I think the kids had fun. They all got to take home personalized aprons, a tote full of baking gadgets, and one of their cupcakes they decorated.

There were pictures of a lot of other fun things, but I decided if I tried to post everything I might not blog at all! Huge thanks to.......... Kate for hosting me and my brood (think lavish dinners and an excellent guest room, along with great entertainment from her kiddo's), and balancing that with an 8 wk old baby ........Rachel and Michele making the trip to Logan, and then driving us to St. George......Lori for making another road trip with me, helping with dinners, and letting me crash at her place on Saturday night.

Swimming Lessons

Ava is taking swimming lessons. Here she is learning to float on her back. Ava's favorite thing to do is to retrieve rings on the bottom of the pool. She has come so far. When she started she wouldn't even put her face in the water.

The Girls are giggling uncontrollably, running in and out of the house.

Vivian is pushing around Ava's new dragon she got at McDonald's.

Ava loves checking the mail. Look at her long hair....it is almost to her "body" (bum)

We had to take advantage of the great weather. After the zoo and swimming lessons last Wednesday we played outside. Can I just say 78 with a slight breeze is dreamy..............................

Star of the week

Ava was star of the week this week. She explained all of her photo's on the collage board we made and Matt read a book to her class. She picked 8 silly monkey's, not because it was her favorite, but because it would make everyone in her class laugh. We made sparkly cupcakes and I read a book to her class on Thursday. She also brought her ant farm and it was a huge hit. One kid accidentally freed a couple of ants.......Luckily no one was bit!
